Overview

Hello, my name is Giorgia, I’m a Yoga instructor with passion to promote wellness in the workplace. I will lead yoga classes for your employees at your company, and we will work together to build the ideal yoga classes to accomodate all skill levels, starting from very beginners to the more advanced practitioners at all physical levels. The aim of the course is to increase physical and mind well-being, by practicing Yoga asana (posture & exercises) and meditation sessions with some basic breathwork activities. Regular participation in the classes will boost the mood of the participants and increase focus at the workplace, it will create stronger connections as team-building experience is enabled and increase overall health benefits that will reflect on the work environment.

Who can participate

The classes are designed to welcome everyone and all levels. The first lessons will be made to assess everyone’s needs and level of experience to create a tailored class that satisfies everyone.

Since everybody is coming from different life paths and have different needs and limitations, all the classes will include an explanation of the asanas for beginners and more advanced practitioners.

The meditation sessions will be included mostly after the asana practices to channel the energy created during the exercise and go home or start the day with positive and calm vibes. This will also improve focusing and concentration capabilities over time.

! This course is available for companies located in The Netherlands.

Classes ideal times

The Best time to do classes is Friday late morning (before lunchtime) or afternoon (at least 2h after lunchtime), Monday mornings, before lunchtime, or any other day in the morning, before lunchtime or afternoon, at least two hours after lunchtime.

Each class lasts 1 hour.

In order to guarantee regularity and full benefits, it is important to sign up before the course to understand how many people will be managed during the classes and guarantee a more personal approach and create a connection with each practitioner, however, flexibility is key :)

About the teacher(s)

My name is Giorgia but you can call me Gio. I’ve been a Yoga practitioner for some years, and now Yoga teacher who completed a 200h Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India, at the foothills of the Himalaya, at the surroundings of the holy river Ganges. During my time in India I’ve learn how to teach different Yoga practices: yoga asana; Hatha and Ashtanga styles, meditation & relaxation and pranayama basics (breathwork).

During the stay in India and daily practices also back home, I’ve noticed how powerful the body-mind connection that is created with continuous practice and how this helps with everyday struggles, big or small can be.

In the past I’ve worked at agencies and corporates so I know very well what are the difficulties of a company to promote work-life balance, wellbeing and improve employees standards and also retain your best employees. That’s why I’ve very passionate to share my knowledge and show the tools to keep a work-life balance.

I believe in human connections and I know how much more meaningful one’s life can be when we establish real connections with other people. That’s why I personally lead each class with enthusiasm and I do my best to connect with the people. Sometimes if I’m not available or fully booked, I will guarantee adequate replacements with other exquisite human being and yoga colleagues who share the same values.
